[SOLVED] Display registerDate field was created by chanteur94
Hi

I would like to display registerDate field in another field with Y-M-D format

I change the format in the registerDate field and when I display it I obtain the good result (example : 2020-04-14)

But when I put [registerDate] or [cb:userdate field="registerDate" /] in another field, I obtain always 2020-04-14 12:17:36 (with the hours)

What I'm doing wrong ?

Thank you.

[FIELD_NAME] is a raw substitution. So is userdata. You need to use userfield. Please be sure to read, study, and bookmark our substitution tutorial below. It goes over the different substitutions, their purpose, and expected outputs.

www.joomlapolis.com/documentation/279-community-builder/tutorials/18353-using-substitutions-throughout-cb

You need to use [cb:userfield field="FIELD_NAME" /] if you want any sort of formatting to be applied to a field.

The userfield substitution completely respects access and display permissions. If it outputs nothing ensure the field is set to display on profile. If you don't actually want it displayed on profile move it to a tab that's in a not shown on profile position so you can still substitute it in.
