We have two joomla user groups and one query field that is used only by the one user group.
When we use the cb user list search, the query shows for both joomla user groups and that is what we want to avoid.
example:
1. users of user group 1 need to fill the query field on registration. This is ok!
2. users of user group 2 do not fill this query field. As a matter of fact this is hidden for them with conditionals.
The problem now with the cb users list is that the query field shows on searches for both and the search results are not correct because other users use this field for both joomla user groups.
Is there a way to hide a field in cb list search when it is empty? (not filled by the user)
it is a Query field - single select.

If you want the field also conditioned for userlist searches be sure to expand the Locations fieldset in your condition and set "Userlists Search" to "Yes". As far as hiding empty fields on your userlist you'll need to enable the hide empty fields parameter within CB > Configuration > User Profile by setting "Show Empty Fields" to "No".
