Hi Kyle,
It would be awesome if all the new members to the site could be tagged in an activity post. Kind of: "Welcome to all 54 new members in the last 7 days!". Obviously only Moderators should be able to do that.

It should not be too difficult to program and would make people engage more with the platform.

Thanks
Tim

The "Profile - Register" system action logs activity for new registrations. Will check to make sure the grouping functionality for it is working. If not will fix for CB Activity 5.0.0. That would then handle your usecase.

Short question, how do I then get a button or something that creates the activity where all the new users are tagged?

There's nothing to do manually. That system action will create the activity when the user registers. Your alternative is to make your own auto action for generating custom activity.
