We need to fix some 'work address' fields because another component was changing them without telling us (EventBooking).

We need to fix them so I want to be sure this is how we would do it:

1) export members to CSV
2) edit in Excel and fix the addresses
3) import back into CB

anything special we should take into consideration?

CB 2.3, CBsubs 4.3, PHP 7.1, J! 3.9.X

I would delete everything in the import except id column and the field you're trying to edit. This way your import is only going to override that data. Next be sure during import you set the import to "Overwrite existing entries with records matching ids" otherwise it'll just attempt to create new users. Be sure to make a backup before you import to be safe.
