I'm about to migrate a website with >25000 users form Typo3 to Joomla with CB. Since there seems to be no way to import the users in a way that they could keep their passwords, I'll import them without password, tell them to use the "forgot password" function and force them to change their password after logging in the first time after using the forgot password function. In test runs this worked out pretty well, but:
After the first login the welcome email is being sent, which seems a bit inappropriate for someone who is registerd maybe for several years. How can I prevent CB from sending the welcome messages to imported users, while keep sending those emails to actually new users who sign up freshly?
Best Regards
Markus
