The issue still persists, but in testing over and over again, I noticed that it's not always consistent, so there must be another factor that I can't pinpoint.
Whether there was a comment or not by me in the post doesn't seems to make a difference now(?).

It's not a consistent issue. I'll be investigating it further as per the bug ticket for CB Activity 5.0.0, but for now I'm still stuck working on CBSubs Stripe to be SCA compliant. Most likely just a cache loading issue for the streams cached data.

I've recently updated my server to Ubuntu 18.04 and PHP 7.2 could that be an issue?

No, don't think it has anything to do with the server, but with how I'm currently caching the streams data so it can pass from page to page.
