Hi again!
I have configured a text field to allow front end inline editing on the profile. It works fine when logged in as an admin but not as a registered user.
I have been through all settings for the tab, field, user, and plugin and cannot find the problem.I get the following error in the element inspector on the page.
"Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: You are not authorized to view this page!"
The URL is mydomainhere.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=fieldclass&field=cb_thriveanswer&function=ajax_edit&user=393&reason=profile&cbsecuritym3=cbm_6020dd58_0d136560_4a2a38ddafa30b43c23afe53173eeeda&cbrasitway=cbrv1_44357ae3777ae79ef23c37b0b15f0c53_IqT0mLhSmpue4ICC&Itemid=441&format=raw

The field is editable when the registered user enters profile edit.
The inline editing works when I make the registered user an Admin.

The image shows the setting for the field
Is this by design or have I configured something wrong?

The owner of the profile should be able to use the ajax edit as well, but looks like the ajax endpoint is being blocked entirely. Ensure "Profile View Access Level" within CB > Configuration > User Profile is set correctly. It should be set to something the user can access.
