[SOLVED] Internal users URL was created by systems
Hi, I need a way to trigger specific auto actions for all users. I know I can use the Internal Users URL but this will trigger all Auto Actions configured with the trigger "Internal - Users". Is there way to modify the Internal Users URL to act on a specific auto action only? OR can I use the Internal Action URL for the specific Auto Action and make it apply to all users?
The action is to modify a field value and no conditions are set. Its changing a field to a set value for all users if you like. I need to do this seperate to other Auto Actions that have the "Internal-Users" trigger. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

There's no direct way to trigger a specific auto action to run against all users. The Internal Users trigger is the only trigger that does that. You can however add a variable to the URL and just be sure to condition against it in your Internal Users auto actions. For example &do=updatefield then you can condition that with [get_do] Equal To updatefield.

Thanks for your help again krileon, always appreciated.
I just need to clarify as what I have done did not work.
The Internal Users URL from the paramters of the plugin is
mydomain.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=pluginclass&plugin=cbautoactions&action=users&token=51111e2bba17fbd3344556a5aef71b9f&Itemid=441&format=raw

I add &do=updatefield to the URL, were "updatefield" is the field name I wish to change in the auto action e.g cb_fieldname ,(or "update field can be anything, as long as it is the same in the condition?) to get this

mydomain.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=pluginclass&plugin=cbautoactions &do=cb_fieldname&action=users&token=51111e2bba17fbd3344556a5aef71b9f&Itemid=441&format=raw

Then I add this condition in the auto action in question [get_do] equal to cb_fieldname.
With this the URL, no auto actions are triggered
Thanks again

Does removing the condition allow the auto action to work fine? Typically you'll need to verify the action works to begin with before adding extras like the GET variable condition. Ensure the auto action has the Internal Users trigger in the Triggers parameter as well or it won't be executed.
