How to make the group posts visible only to users in that group?

I am exploring GroupJive, I found anyone not in that group can see the posts the group users made. Can I fix it? I already set up the group type as "approval". To become a user of that group requires approval. However, anyone outside that group can see what they are doing.

Approval and Open groups contents can be publicly viewed. The difference between the two is one allows open joining and the other requires someone to approve their join request. If you don't want the groups contents visible you'll need to use an Invite group which only allows users to join via invite. Additional group types are planned in a later release to cover more usages.

I see. If I use "Invite", the existence of a group can't even be seen by any users who come to the site first time (because by nature new users are not invited to any groups in the beginning). The site will not look attractive to new users.

I would like that the new user can see the group is there, but can't see the what the users in there are jiving about. Before the new feature releases, can we make it happen by any configuration?

There's no group type at this time that covers that usage.

Before the new feature releases, can we make it happen by any configuration?

Nope.
