Dear Joomlapolis,
I have Joomla 3.9.1 and CB 2.3.0 installed at pvarc.site and almost everything works, except CB items from Mail Menu logout and community profile (user-profile).
THis is so basic, and I have spent so much time on fixing it, that I bought support just for this.
From the mail menu (Membership) I have the CB user login and CB user logout. The user login works in that I see the user in the "online-users" module.
The logout does not remove the user from the "online-users" list.
A logged-in user cannot select the menu item linked to the CB user profile - I always get
"Error
Please log in or sign up to view or modify your profile."

Can someone help me with this problem please?

Only reason for that error message to display is the user isn't logged in. Ensure you're using CBs login module and login page (you're using Joomlas) exclusively. You also aren't using CBs registration page. So more than likely your users don't even exist in CB. Run the user synchronization tool within CB > Tools then read the CB Primer Book carefully to ensure your site is configured correctly.

It is worth mentioning CB simply works out of the box. The only way you could still be reaching Joomlas login and registration pages instead of CBs is you've configured CB to allow this from its default behavior as on install our system plugin in Extensions > Plugins will block access to Joomlas login and registration to send users to CBs.
