We are using the current stable Joomla and current stable Community Builder version.
We have several image file fields for our users where they can upload an animated banner gif.
After upload the GIF is not animated anymore.
I have verified that the ImageMagick PHP library is working and is selected it in the CB configuration.
I don't receive any errors. I have even deactivated "Always Resample Image Uploads".
I have dug into the source code and can fix the issue by editing /libraries/CBLib/CBLib\Image\Image.PHP line 394
and set
However that hack will probably force all uploads to be converted to GIF and this issue needs to be fixed properly.
Please provide a poper bug fix in the next update.

Shouldn't need to force that as it's supposed to detect that based off the extension being a gif. Maybe a bug with the Imagine library causing it to fail. Have added a feature ticket to update Imagine and retest GIF uploads.

Ok, have updated Imagine to version 1.2.0 and added the animated flag for gif files. Change is under review and once merged will be released in new build.
