[SOLVED] Fake and deleted registrations appearing in CB lists

Despite that I have blocked registrations in Joomla, and that I have admintools running to protect the site, it seems that some registrations are getting through in the wrong way.
This is Joomla 3.8.8 and CB 2.1.4

If I look in the user list in CB and Joomla, the users do not show up.
If I go through the 'users' table in the DB, they do not show up.
But if I do a list with CB lists, the users show up.

Check if you've any 3rd party Joomla extensions that may have registration functionality. CB only blocks Joomlas core com_users component and won't block 3rd party usages.

If I look in the user list in CB and Joomla, the users do not show up.
If I go through the 'users' table in the DB, they do not show up.
But if I do a list with CB lists, the users show up.

Don't quite understand this. How could the show up in a userlist on frontend if they don't exist in the database? Do you mean they exist in the _comprofiler table, but not _users table?

They must have been cached somehow, I just went in to reconfirm it, and now they don't show up?

I'm guessing the page was cached if you're using Joomla page cache plugin or any 3rd party caching extension.
