Compatibility with the component : NBill was created by cbertrand
Hi,

I don't know if someone used or is still using the component NBill (or NBill Lite in its free version).
It was a great component for invoicing with joomla (not subscriptions, but just plain invoicing - very powerful).
This component is still working great.

But as I installed Community Builder, now the front-end access is refused => even if I am already logged in, on the NBill menu link I get another login box re-asking me username and password. Even-more, even if I re-enter correct username and password, it refuses to connect (still saying I am not logged in !).

Does someone had the same problem or would have an idea why ?

My guess is they're using Joomlas core users component for login. CB blocks access to core users component to prevent registering or logging in outside of CB. You can disable this within CBs system plugin in Extensions > Plugins under the Parse URLs tab.

thanks for the help.
I tried and it did not change anything.
But I re-done what I had did in the first place on another test install.
ANd in the first place I updated Joomla from 3.4.5 to 3.6 and 3.8
Redoing it I noticed the frontend access stopped working as soon as I updated to 3.6.5.
I guess it is a pb of compatibilty !
