Hi there,
I have updated all plugins on my site www.damenbasketball.com and cannot access the site eiter site nor administration.
Dont know whether the update is the cause but I didnt change anything else, thus I assume so.

Do you have any similar experiences from which I can learn?

Peter - Shouldn't it be .org, rather than .com?

Check server error logs for any fatal errors.

We needed to use a backup to recover.
Now my technicians asked me if your new plugins need special SQL versions or similar?
My version is My SQL 5.0

My version is My SQL 5.0

5.1 is Joomlas minimum. Recommended by Joomla is 5.5.3. I recommend MYSQL 5.6. Are you sure your MYSQL is exactly 5.0?

You needed to check your server error log for fatal errors. Without any errors I've no clue what was going wrong with your site. Update things 1 at a time instead of all at once to better find out what may have went wrong. Fist ensure Joomla is up to date then update CB followed by your installed plugins.
