Hi again,

Thanks Kyle. Yes, that was a bit odd but it solved my issue:-)
In the end I chose show/show instead of hide/hide as condition and value, but nice.

Hi,

I have discovered that the list view is not very optimal on mobile view. Look nice in the desktop view (columns and rows).

For my base user list, I use the grid layout view and that works well on mobile view.
The "normal" list (columns and rows) are shown with all column titles clusterede together in the top of the screen. It seems like all things are clustered according to row in desktop view.
Joomla catagory list view for articles works well in mobile view.

How can I make user list mobile view similar to the desktop view? What am i missing?

Thanks.

Correct, it collapses it down for responsive view. We'll be improving this further in a later release.

Joomla catagory list view for articles works well in mobile view.

There's typically just too much information for it to remain as a table. Everything would be smashed into basically 20px width boxes becoming unreadable.

You can't without writing your own CSS to style it exactly how you're wanting it, but nearly no matter how you style it it's still going to often be just too much information to view on a phone beyond using the grid usage.

Hi again,

Hmm that was sad news for me. The other grid layout view is not really a reasonable option for my task either.

Unfortunately I do not know anything about css styling "yet".

I agree that too much information can easibly be a factor in table views. But in my case I would only only need 4 columns and it works well in the 5 columns joomla article list view on mobile. Of course the row hight increases the more information it contains, but ok inside reasonable thresholds.

Can you inform me when you are planning a release with this feature?

Thanks.

The only way remaining a table on mobile would be reasonable is if each column contained 1 word or a number like Joomlas. 99% of user cases are not doing this with userlists and are outputting far too much information for this to look even remotely good or readable on mobile devices. So while I understand your usecase isn't that you must understand we have to design for typically scenario and the majority, which our current styling supports. The best way for mobile tables to work is for it to collapse the table down into multiple mini-tables. Example as follows.

Row 1
Column: Fields
Column: Fields
Column: Fields

Row 2
Column: Fields
Column: Fields
Column: Fields

Something similar to this will be explored for later CB release. This really only pertains to phones. Tablets should look same as desktop as they've enough window width.

Can you inform me when you are planning a release with this feature?

I don't know, sorry. We do not provide release dates or timeframes here.

Hi Kyle,

Thanks and I get your point on majority of user cases.

Ok, go for the mini-tables exploration:-) Maybe make an individual list layout setting option for desktop / maybe tablet / phone....
I am looking forward.

Thanks.
