Within CB Activity > Activity > Create set "Create Access" back to its default value of Registered and see if they can now create posts fine. The Recent Activity page will use that global value unless you changed it within your menu item to the Recent Activity page, which you may want to review anyway to ensure "Create Access" within your Recent Activity menu item is set to "Same as Global".

I don't know what to tell you. You've a configuration issue somewhere. Ensure all the parameters under the Activity tab of your Recent Activity menu item are set to "Same as Global" then do the same for Activity tab within CB > Tab Management. This will ensure both Recent Activity and profile activity are inheriting from the global parameters. Next login with a user with the Registered usergroup and retest. You can also compare your configuration to our demo site, which is utilizing the Recent Activity page as its home page.

I've tested this on your staging site using newly created user testuser where it works fine. You can access the recent activity page directly with the below URL.

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=pluginclass&plugin=cbactivity&action=recentactivity

I do not see a menu item to Recent Activity. It appears you are using a module instead. The module and the new post input displays fine using the newly created test user.

However you have something injecting HTML on every Joomla request. This is not safe to do. I've no idea what's doing it. This breaks CB Activity JSON responses. Seams to be a chunk of JS from Dynamic Drive DHTML code library for function ajaxinclude.
