kunena looks awful was created by cpm73
So Im doing the tutorial on CBJive, and while the tutorial looks all pretty when he clicks on forums in the CBJive group forums tab. when I do it I get a wonky page of confusion. I followed every step, even went through the tutorial a couple times to be sure.
I will note it looked like this after the original tutorial about putting kunena on, but since at that point I wasnt to figuring out forums I didn't bother (also had not yet purchased account here to even be able to ask)

We're not the developers of Kunena. I've no idea why it looks awful on your site. Recommend posting on the Kunena forums below.

My guess is your Kunena and Joomla template maybe not be compatible or Kunena needs to be told to load Bootstrap. All of which is done within Kunena > Templates.

Yeah, was a bootstrap setting.

Followup on this, and I have inquired via kunena first..

When viewing the forum via GJ it lists every topic and every reply. Is there a way to make it only list the topics? When I set up a menu item that points to the specific forum category it displays only the topics and then you see the replies once you click that topic. Thus it would seem this is an issue to tackle via GJ and not via Kunena.

There is no setting for that and is simply how that plugin is designed. It'll be redesigned in the GJ rewrite release to function more like Kunena where it shows topic subject with paging under it and probably include last post by, etc..

Just a followup request to your next version...

Am using groupjive for projects and setting the categories based on stages they are in (ie - (1) development, (2) production, (3) completed). Then letting the group owners change the groups category as they progress. One thing I noticed is when the owner switches the category (say from development to production), the photos & go blank and files are inaccessible. Reason being is in the media content area the photos/files are in the folder for the development area, and now it looks to the production folder, which does not hold these photos. Would be nice for a simple internal adjustment to occur.
As for now I'm going to look to figuring out an auto action to accomplish this, but alas I am new to this type of thing. :P

Photos, files, etc.. you should all move when changing a groups category. If they're not that would be a bug and have created a bug ticket to investigate further.
