I am trying to create a menu item in frontend to let CB Moderators add new users from frontend. These moderatoras have no backend access.
We do not allow self-registration on our site.

Tried the Registration Form menu type with Access level Special, but obviously the form only works for unregistered users.
Is there a better way to let Moderators add users uning Frontend?

There's no frontend user create. To create users on frontend they'd have to logout and go through normal registration process on a users behalf. Registration form can not be used while logged in.

Oops. Was afraid of that.

May I suggest this as a feature request?

I have hard to beleive that I am alone to find this feature useful. :)

On my site, I cannot have a public registration page. Dompletely against our organisation´s rules.

This feature is already planned for a future CB release.

Great! Can you estimate what timeframe we are talking about?

Unfortunately, no. We do not provide timeframes or release dates. In short it's done when it's done, sorry. This particular feature likely won't be implemented for a long time as we've other APIs to improve/refactor before adding this. For now backend user create would be the ideal approach and using ACL you can limit what they can do in backend.
