Joomla Main Menu - Groupjive Plugin was created by gty667/
GroupJive plugin Joomla menu options offered are (amongst others) 'joined groups' and 'my groups'.

I would expect 'My Groups' to be a subset of 'Joined Groups', since by definition this is true. However, these two options are mutually exclusive of the other. I suspect this is because the filtering is done by the 'active and 'owner' attribute values of the groups.

How can I create a single joomla menu item which returns a more intuitively correct set of groups, both those that are 'owned' and those that have been 'joined' as for example if I wanted to name the menu item 'Groups I'm a member of'

There isn't a URL for that, but there needs to be. The tab already functions like that so you could substitute the tab into a Joomla article using CB Content Bot as a workaround. I've added a feature ticket to implement a new URL to display joined and owned groups on same page.

Thanks Kyle - that's a great answer. Do you think the timescale on that feature ticket wil be days, weeks or months? I wouldn't want to implement the workaround you suggested if the mod is likely to be fairly quick (and simple for you!)

No idea, currently all projects are on hold while I am working on our new Joomlapolis site. Once done with the new site I'll be back to working on CB Gallery, which is mid development of its next release. Once that is done will release bug/feature builds for other plugins like GJ.
