Hi

I am having a problem with the subscription tab (normal registration works).

The sign up button just does not want to work (again). There is nothing reported by maximum Joomla error reporting.

It has to do with a field that is present at signing up. Type of Business. It works when I choose some of the types of business but not when I choose others (notably doctors and dentists and IT-specialist). What could it be? This one is blocking everything. What can it be that is blocking and not showing up on the registration: munich.international-friends.net/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbpaidsubscriptions&do=displayplans&plans=1-2-3-5-6-7-8

When the person is logged in, then they can change to that profile without any problems.

It is a single select drop down list.

You have fatal JS errors present on your site. They will conflict and break CBs JS. You can see them by pressing F12 then clicking the Console tab. If not showing anything then refresh the page and attempt to register and you should see them. It looks like the JS errors are coming from Comet Chat.

You also seam to have a field that's hidden, but throwing a validation error. Specifically if you select Dentist it looks like the following.

"Covered by government Health insurance (AOK, TK etc...) (2)"

How are you showing/hiding fields? If using CB Conditional you can only condition a field once. If you are conditioning a field with CBSubs and CB Conditional then these conditions will conflict. Only condition from 1 source, ever. The "Company Information" tab is being entirely hidden for some reason due to the conditions configured.

Will investigate. I have found a way around it which is less than perfect but I am on a deadline (actually missed it already). I have found now a way around it but it is imperfect and I still have to try to find the mistake (I have simply un-required all fields ...

Cometchat is not the one doing the error. Has been always there. (I am using Ctrl + Shift + J to get to console). Has to do with the hiding of the cometchat when logged out.

_None of the fields that are showing are conditioned. Checked all 192 fields. As said I have found a way around it but need to enable the "required" on the fields again at some point. How can I see which fields are showing? I do not know how to do that. Do I have to search the whole of the source code? Any shortcuts?

_ I am showing nearly exclusively using Conditionals on "Type of Business". I will keep you up to date when I find the error. Maybe it is useful to you too.

After getting increasingly frustrated, I have maybe found the error. I had put a CB conditional "usergroup" onto the tab Company info. Now comes the interesting stuff. I had put the usergroup as advertiser (a usergroup only reached via CB subs) and since I wanted to hide the tab at registration, also switched on the conditional at registration (user is public so not Advertiser). This seems to have provoked the problems (at least that is what my first tests showed). I have NOT used two conditional (100% sure about this as I have checked it several times). If you can still read this in the morning, then extensive tests will have shown that this was indeed the source of the error.

Hope this analysis (which by the way has cost me the last nerve and let me work 16 hours straight) is worth it to help find maybe some weird acting stuff.

OK theory is already destroyed. I can now see in which tab the field is that should have been conditionally hidden and is required if shown (I have made all fields un-required apart from this one, see picture).

I have checked literally everything now. Only thing I can think off is that the amount of fields is the problem. I have 192 fields with quite a big number (about 120) hidden due to conditioning on this one field "Type of Business".

I now had enough trying to find the error for today. I am making all fields un-required and the users can sort it themselves...

PS: This field "Health insurance" only shows up if Type of Business gets set to Dentist. It is on IT-specialist for the moment.

Is it possible to hide whole tabs for single plans? I mean during registration? I have Normal free users signing up and seeing the company Informations tab... Or not seeing it (if I use above usergroup conditional) and then the subscribers need to fill stuff out using AJAX calls (which is lengthier than simply filling it out on registration + conditional fields do not automatically show up during AJAX changes. You need to reload the page for the conditioned fields to show up).

Furthermore, I currently have no fields in PERSONAL INFO during registration for business plan and the stupid tab still shows up at registration for subscription, leading my users to believe that the registration does not work and thus aborting the registration or asking me questions to which my answer is invariably "Click on Sign up button"

Any ideas?
