[#3768] CB Invites validation message

Dear Support,

Good Day to you.
I installed CB 1.9 in Joomla 2.5.8. I activated Step by Step registration (I set 3 Step in registration) and installed CB Invites. Currently if I entered invalid invite code (in Step 3) then the system will popup error message and then redirect me to Step 1 registration page.

My question:
How could I set the error message just display below the Invite Code text box and stay on Step 3?

You can't, it doesn't do ajax validation. It checks against the database after registration POST. Sounds like a good idea though and have created the below feature request for a future release.

Nope, currently have significantly higher priority tasks right now; probably not anytime soon, sorry.

I try to send an Invite to my other email address for testing and I clicked the registration link that CB provided in email as below:
Invite Code - 6628701eb719d543c961adbf2a516c90
Registration - abc.def.com/component/comprofiler/registers?invite_code=6628701eb719d543c961adbf2a516c90

But seems registration page could not capture or display email address and invite code in test box automatically (Step 3). Please view screenshot attached.

Did I miss some step in configuration or it's CB Invite bugs? Please help.

Was able to confirm the invite code not populating from URL to the registration page as a bug and have created the following bug ticket fur further investigation.
