GJ - Tab issues

I just found out there is a tab for GJ
So I added it to my users' profiles. Great. However, I can see the tab whether I am logged in or not, which is good (I want everyone to see this tab and be able to see what groups a user belongs to/owns), but I cannot see the groups a user belongs to or created unless I log in.

The tab itself is set to display to everyone and the tabs are all set to enable under GJ's tab settings.

Am I missing something?

Also, it's a little confusing that the tab title "My Groups" writes "My". Should it not change to "Username's Groups" when viewed by someone else but the actual group owner?
Here is a situation where this will be very confusing: Say you are signed in as user A and you visit user B's profile. You go to the Groups tab and you see that under My Groups are groups you never created.

If you find this logical, would you please change it in GJ 2.4?

Groups contained in the tabs respect permissions. For example if the category that the groups are in is set to "All Registered Users" for access then none of the groups on users profile will be visible to a public (non-logged in user).

Don't see the confusion, you're on "Username's Profile" so "My Groups" implies that they are the groups belonging to that profile. You're welcome to change it as it's a language string; however you'd need to alter template files for username to be displayed. This won't be changed, sorry.

Now, I have another question. I understand your logic behind My Groups and Joined Groups. However, I have a user who joined Group A, yet Group A appears on My Groups on his profile although he is not the owner of the group nor created it and he is not an administrator, just a member. Is that on purpose?

This likely means you configured the tab to include Joined groups. Please see GJ > Configuration > Tabs > Groups and ensure "Joined" is set to disabled.

But I want to show what groups a user joined. The problem is that it shows that the user created the group where he actually just joined the group, unless you mean that My Groups encompasses ALL groups a user belongs to, whether he created it or joined an existing one.

GJ already shows the groups Joined in its own tab. You're misunderstanding the configuration. Setting "Joined" to enabled for the My Groups tab results in the groups the user owns AND the groups the user joined showing. Please review my previous reply to disable display of joined groups in the my groups tab.
