You're wanting to remove the auto publish fields? Yes this is doable. Within field management simply disable the field cb_pb_autopublish.

Bug ticket applies to all tabs generated by PB, they all use the same code more or less. Believe it applies to latest or likely all versions, unsure as did not test previous releases.
