Hi Kyle,
Don't know exactly the right combination of settings to prevent default free registrations (J-Global Usr Reg set to No and CB Reg set to no?). I currently have both set to yes and this is allowing people to register without making a plan selection.
Thanks

I think I figured it out myself; In CB Subs Global- Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions): I've set this to NO.

Ok that works (I really need to quit talking to myself)
Kile-
How do I change the warning message:
Sorry, Registration is enabled, free registrations are not allowed, but no subscription plan is available for registration. Please contact site administrator.

You must choose a membership to register with this site.

Why do you need to change the warning?
Do you mean just the wording?
If so, it should be in the language file (see documentation).

You should really look into the real issue - you have configured CBSubs in such a way as to always require subscription to plans - but your registration form does not propose a subscription.

Hi Nick, thanks for the quick reply-
The site does initially show plans when they click 'Register' from the cblogin module. The plans are presented along with the profiler so that's good. What I really need is an explicit message at the top right under the componentheading 'Registration' that informs to the effect that they must purchase to register.
Thanks again for the quick reply.

Just use a delimiter field to display such a message on the registration form.
