License Question

Hi,

I'm planning to setup a CB site and pre-populate it with 50,000+ profile entries. They aren't active members but rather different stores (with a name & address). I'd be extremely happy if we even managed to get 500 actual active members.

Would it be possible to get a break on the license? Currently we'd need to buy an unlimited license, but a lessor license would seem more fitting.

Hi there.

The license is based on number of rows in the Joomla user table. It does not care if rows represent blocked, approved, email confirmed or active users.

If your 50K profiles are implemented as users, then the appropriate license applies.

If you implement the 50K profiles as entries in some component directory (e.g., SOBI or MosTrees) then you could do with much less.
