Hello,
In the pre-sales documentation for cbsubs, you tout that cbsubs integrates with virtuemart.

So, do I need both?

Or, is cbsubs a complete package and I dont need virtuemart?

Please clarify.

Thanks,
Mike

I´m using it right now, so:

CBsubs works independently. It has it´s own payment processors and setup for the payed suscriptions.

VM integration is for now to automatically assign a subscriber to a user group withing VM (shopper, admin, demo, etc.)
In the next version it will (also) include shoppergroups, so you can enter new subscribers to different plans into different shoppergroups, giving them for example different prices.

Hope this helps:)

Ok, so it works independently from virtuemart.... then if you dont mind me asking... "why does it integrate with it?"

Thanks.

Sure, don't mind. :)

Current Integration plugin is to assign the user with a subscription (free of paid) to a group in Virtualmart (in upcoming 1.0.1 to user group or shopper group).

CBSubs is not a shop and virtuemart is not a subscriptions management system. Two very different focuses, but lots of room for integration. :)
