Ride or car sharing possible with CB? was created by cpee

Hello,

we use CB on our parents community website and we would like to create a section where parents can offer or look for rides for their kids from and to our school. A (google) API map showing the route would be nice as well. How close can I get to this using CB add-ons?

Any other links or recommendation how to achieve a ride sharing application with given BB user database are highly appreciated.

We've no plugin that provides that exact functionality. Best I can suggest is maybe just using CB Activity and having an Activity page with the Asset set to "rideshare" so posts are unique to that stream and just having people post on it that they need a ride share.
