User specific files. was created by TheSnagger
Hey there.

Is it possible to use Community Builder to work like some sort of extranet.

I want to able to add files to the site that are private for a user.
The user must also be able to upload to the site. Privately of course.
In addition to that I want to be able to upload files that are downloadable for all users.

Is this possible to do with Community Builder?

If so, please guide me in the right direction on how to do this.

Thanks in advance!

Replied by krileon on topic User specific files.
Community Builder is for social networking. It's not a download manager. Sounds like you should be using something like DOCman instead. With that said best I can suggest is use CB Gallery (provides photos, videos, music, and file galleries) combined with CB Privacy then force the Gallery privacy to Private so only moderators and the profile owner can access their gallery.
