Dear Joomlapolis Team

I am very interested in purchasing CBSubs, but I have two important presales questions. With your help I am able to judge if CBsubs can be integrated in our workflow. Thanks for your help in advance.

Situation:
We are a society club. Our plan duration period is one calendar year. And the plan gets prolonged automatically for another year if it is not cancelled actively.

QUESTION 1:
For me it looks like that this would be sth. for the 'CBsubs auto-recurring renewal' setting - correct?
Can these 'auto-recurring renewals' be used together with the 'offline payment' gateway? (All our members pay offline.)
And if yes, is there any kind of automatic payment reminder emails we can use to remind subscribers that their offline-payment has not been completed? (I already found about such functions in the documentation for 'first payment case' and 'manual renewal case', but not for 'auto-recurring renewal + offline payment')

QUESTION 2:
What I learned from the decriptions in the internet, the invoices (baskets) are submitted as a plain-text or html-text email. Is there any known way to submit and archieve the invoices (baskets) in a PDF-file format?

Thanks for your help and best regards
Meik

But please can you help me with my question 1.

You cannot automatically prolong a subscription.
If it is set to expire it will expire.
You can schedule various reminder emails to let subscriber know and motivate them to renew.

I don't think that auto-recurring and offline make sense.

You could use the grace period setting in a plan to keep privileges active for extra year and keep reminding user to renew.

Thank you Nick for your answers and ideas.

Just for my understanding: would it -in principal- technically work to have 'auto-recurring' together with the 'offline payment' gateway?

Thank you so much and best regards

Recurring payments for offline gateway is planned. The idea is the subscription auto renews until you or the user manually cancels it. This is discussed further below.

I've no idea when it'll be implemented, but it's possible to workaround the issue using CB Auto Actions. Basically you'd have a CB Auto Action that acts on the plan expire event and you'd force it to renew. There's no other workaround at this time.

Thank you Kyle.

The idea is the subscription auto renews until you or the user manually cancels it.

This is exactly what we are looking for.

Recurring payments for offline gateway is planned.

It would be brillant to have this feature included.

Thanks a lot and best regards
