Use CB to build members directory was created by jagadeesha
Is it possible to build members directory using Community Builder? For example: Create a employees directory based on their department. Visitor should be able to browse member profile based on the categories.

During the registration process user should be able to select which group he belongs. Based on this registered members will list in the directory.

You can simulate this using the CB User List functionality.

I tried CB User List functionality, it displays all the users. I would like to list the users in different categories or directories.

For example:

US(100)
.New york(20) .Orlando(25) .Chicago(10)
.Atlanta(10) .California(15)

When user clicks on New york(20), it should display all the 20 user lists.

You can create a user list filtered by a CB Field for a specific value (e.g., All users in New York).

No way to do the grouping you specified.
