I have a client that wants the function of having his students be able to log in and make journal entries (like blog entries) that are only visible to them individually and to him to see and comment to.

Is that possible with CB?

A number of different ways to do this.

CB Blogs (part of Professional membership) is one way in cooperation with the CB Privacy addon (also included in Professional membership).
