Before doing so, I wanted to find out how much of our requirements that your system can fullfill.
We have four types of memberships
Senior
Junior
Support
Family
Family is a special type, that includes more than one user.
All memberships follows the calendar year.
People can sign up in each quater, and until the end of the year, there are specific rates for each quarter (ie. people sign up in june for the rest of the year, or october for the rest of the year).
Renewals of memberships are due in November (so that a user renews eg. for 2014, payment is due in Nov. 2013).
Payments are done via bank transfer (manuel in your system I guess).
Reminders are to be sent out before the renewal, and reminders for missing payments should also be sent out, access is to be removed in january if payment is not done.
We're using Community Builder and Acymailing currently, and would of course like to keep these two components, unless their function can be replaced.
I hope you can give us some clarification if your component can help us out.

Ok, that's not too much of a problem, can I 'attach' it to a user (so he/she gets reminders)?nant wrote:

There is no such feature in CBSubs - you would need to manually handle this somehow in your offline site processes.
All memberships follows the calendar year.
Plans can be calendar year based and you can specify the calendar start day (e.g., Apr 1st instead of Jan 1st).
People can sign up in each quater, and until the end of the year, there are specific rates for each quarter (ie. people sign up in june for the rest of the year, or october for the rest of the year).
You should be able to setup an automatic promotion to handle this. Might be tricky but there is such a feature - not sure if the granularity you want is configurable though.
Renewals of memberships are due in November (so that a user renews eg. for 2014, payment is due in Nov. 2013).
So your calendar year ends in November?

But payment for next year renewals are due in november, as we have to pay our organization a fee for each member, and that payment is due on the 15'th of January, so as not to stretch the volunteer workforce too much, we decided that people had to pay a bit earlier.
