Good afternoon everyone. I am looking for a log in system (I think like community builder) that would allow me to create a section of my website which requires people to log in to be able to download files which would otherwise be protected from the general public.
Does community builder have this functionality? Essentially I just need a page or two with links which are not accessible unless a user is logged in? Is that possible? If not community builder, does anyone know of a module/plugin/extension that does this? Free/paid doesnt really matter.
Joomla articles can be set to require registration for viewing and you can attach files to the article (either linking to file or using some plugin - jce has such a file attachment plugin).
You can have a download component (docman, remository, phocadownloads, etc - there are many on the JED).
You can use CB also and create a file field (needs Advanced membership) and just put a specific file you want for a specific member on their profile.
