Do regular Joomla Extensions still work? was created by ScottChapman
Sorry for the noob question, I poked around and I suspect I know the answer, but was looking for something more defiitive.

I am assuming that community builder is just a joomla extension like any other, and that the core joomla is still there and this still supports other joomla extensions/modules/templates.

Or is it more complicated than that?

Yes, Community Builder is a Joomla extension.
