CBSubs Gateways was created by BruiserNZ
Hi,

We have a large (for NZ) Joomla 1.5 site using php/mysql/linux/CB 1.7. We intend to add a subscription payment system onto this site, and have been looking at a range of options, including CBSubs.

We have a need to find a credit card gateway that will integrate with the NZ bank systems, or alternatively, via a gateway we use called "Paymate". This Paymate gateway works perfectly for us in Virtuemart, and is seamless.

Can you please confirm if and/or when CBSubs will use Paymate?

Can you provide us with a complete list of your currently acceptable gateways?

Are any of your current gateways (especially Paypal) able to support completely integrated (seamless) operation inside a website using CCBSubs?

We look forward to your response, as if the answers are positive we intend purchasing CBSubs in the next 2 days.

CBSubs does not currently support Paymate.

No plans to add such support unless someone sponsors development (use contact form if interested in sponsoring such a project).

Paypal, Authorize.net, 2CheckOut, Ogone, PostFinance, CCBill, AlertPay, Offline.

Not sure what exactly you mean by seamless - please explain.

Hi Nick,

We are looking for a credit card payment gateway that appears to work inside our site, i.e., when the buyer goes to our checkout they are show a popup from our site to enter their credit card details, rather than being directed off-site to the Paypal site to make payment then retuned to our site.

For the buyer it appears that their payment is being made to us internally, rather than being paid to Paypal off-site.

Hope this explains what we seek?

Regards,
Bruce Gordon

Currently the following statements are true:

- with Paypal gateway for CC payments the user would be redirected to Paypal for an account (Paypal pro is needed to stay on same site - not implemented yet on CBSubs, but planned)
- with Ogone you leave the site but you can style the page to appear as if it was your site
- with 2checkout you also leave the site
- with Authorize.net you stay on your site (but this is only for US I believe)

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the feedback.

We've checked out Ogone's site and are talking with our bank here in NZ to see how that process works.

One thing we can't work out is Ogone's fees, their site shows none. Do they have a fee structure, or how do they charge, and who?

Bruce Gordon

Sent you a PM with our Ogone contact - mention Joomlapolis in your conversation to get better price.
