CB Subs For Sports Club Memberships

I am considering CBSubs for my sports club's site as a means of gathering online club subscriptions - i.e. payments for club, not site, membership. The difficulty I see is that club memberships involve potentially multiple people (couples, families) with different 'plans' (rates) based on their age or other user factors such as when they are allowed to play. I tried AEC but it didn't cope and I suspect CBSubs won't either as its aimed at a different purpose: paying for access to site functions.

Hence, I think I am going to have to build this myself.

I do believe this will be possible when the API has released; albeit you'd need to develop your own integration plugin to do so it would be possible. However, for the time being the API is yet to be released (still being finalized).

For example we use a plugin developed to handle the licensing system which features a drop down with multiple options. You CAN actually achieve multiple options for a single plan though using Parent->Child plan type relationships. You have a parent plan with a flat fee, then you "add to" the parent plan with child plans (set as non-exclusive of course). A little bit of creativity with trial and error and you should be able to achieve something acceptable to your needs.
