Is there a newsletter that is better than others to use with CBSubs? I simply want to have a newsletter that is sent to paying subscribers.

A lot of folks are using Acajoom, but tests show it's very server heavy, so ensure you have a good stable host. I have not personally tested newsletters, but the SQL Actions plugin should allow you to run any queries necessary to assign a user to a newsletter for any newsletter component.
