Ok, the package installer has been improved to properly catch all errors and remove the JSON format dependency. This should now more reliably detect errors, if any, and stop false reporting errors if something was simply echo'd during install.

I am receiving a similar issue. I read on the json. What can i do next, after its installed it goes right back to the install screen without confirming it was instaled or not going to be installed

Not sure what you mean by this. That's not the same issue as this topic. Can you further explain what's happening? Is CB not installing at all? Joomla version? PHP version?
