Hi,

I am using Joomla 3.6.5 with Community Builder 2.1.2, PHP 5.4.16, and MYSQL version Ver 15.1 Distrib 5.5.52-MariaDB.

Every time I try to create a new user or change some of a user's data. I get to the following error message:

An Error occurred! (Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten!)

0 Cannot access protected property CB\Database\Table\UserTable::$_comprofilerUser

Call stack

12 autoGroupTab->setGroupAfterRegistration() /home/intern.corpsfranconia.de/libraries/CBLib/CB/Legacy/cbPluginHandler.php:881

The user is created or its data is changed anyhow, but the error message is confusing and I don't know if it has any other consequences, too.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Best regards,
Thomas

You've a CB plugin installed that's doing it.

Code:
12 autoGroupTab->setGroupAfterRegistration() /home/intern.corpsfranconia.de/libraries/CBLib/CB/Legacy/cbPluginHandler.php:881

That line is a call function. So it's calling setGroupAfterRegistration function of autoGroupTab class, which belongs to a plugin you've installed. I'm guessing something to do with assigning usergroups after registration. The stack trace doesn't go back far enough to tell you what line in what plugin is doing it specifically.

Hi,

first of all thanks for the very fast answer. Do you have any hint how I can find out which plugin is causing the issue?

Best regards,
Thomas

Hi,

I just found out that an old version of the auto_group plugin is causing the issue.

Thanks again for your help!

Best regards,
Thomas
