Admin Center has "stuck" users as pending, but there aren't any

We have users who had requested accounts on our site that were not "rejected" from the fontend admin center module. Instead, they were deleted "improperly" by other admins, via the User Management from the backend.....not that any of us figured this would do any harm anyway. Hence why this maybe a bug?? Whether we delete/reject from frontend or backend....logical it should be OK, no?

That aside, these 11 users are now "stuck" with the Admin Center saying they are pending....but they aren't.

Where would these be located to flush them out, so that when we sign in the # of pending user accounts is accurate again - aka zero 0?

Really? No one has a solution or workaround to this issue - much less any idea(s)?
This is a CB module that is having this problem, and it is localized only here - but because it is on the front end makes it rather unbecoming. We're now up to 21 of these "stuck users" in this module.

Are these in the MySQL database somewhere? I've looked and cannot find them, but if that's where they are - please advise. I'm not squeamish about going in there and running scripts or statements to find and flush these out and then automating it for any others that may crop up in the future - if any.
