Hi!
Since CB1.8/J2.5.5 (not fixed with latest CB1.8.1/J2.5.6) the upload of avatars does not work correctly in back-end administration:
- The full size of the image is saved as avatar, it is not shrunk to the size stated as "Max Image Height/Width"
- The avatar thumbnail is not created at all
There is no error message displayed (even with display_errors on) and all configuration seems to be correct (see attachment).
