Another menu item with the same parent

Hi when I install comprofiler
I get this error
Another menu item with the same parent has this alias
Error building Admin Menus

however it continues and installs the second phase no problem. All green.
Yet there is no menu for community builder
Am using 1.8 on joomla 2.5
I have tried uninstalling the component and reinstalling
any suggestions ?

This is a Joomla bug.
I believe there is a sticky thread that discusses ways to fix this - please search the forums.

hi I can't find any reference to this bug in joomla forums, maybe you can point to this Joomla Bug reference?
I have even tried uninstalling joomla and reinstalling 2.5.3 with a fresh new clean joomla then installing comprofiler and it still does the same

Just search for

Error building Admin Menus

and you will see how many different people trying to install different extensions have been bitten by this.
