jUpgrader issue was created by vuurtoren
Hi,

I installed the cb 1.8 version via the jupgrader route in joomla 2.5.1. All works well; it even installed all the modules etc. in one go.
Since doing this jupgrader keeps nagging that I have to update to CB 1.8 even when I manually installed it once more to be sure. In the configure tab it also says cb 1.8.

Not sure where to report this: is it a joomla or a community builder bug, or even a cocktail-bug if such a thing exists!

For now I will ignore the jupgrader messages.

Thanks for your wonderful software.

Greetings,
Paul

Everything seems to be working fine except I keep getting message that I need to update CB.

Well: lots of improvements in CB 1.9 I'm sure, but helas the upgrade error just won't go away. Now in J2.5.8 en CB 1.9.

Also: still no one from CB core responding.

Best regards,
Paul

Try and install CB 1.9 over your existing installation.

I believe there was a minor issue with automated upgrader that has been fixed in newer releases.

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I tried to install the latest cb version 'over' the existing one. This did not change the update-behaviour at all.

Finally went in the extension manager to look at the installed files. (Should have done this much earlier!) I found that there were two comprofiler files. A comprofiler 1.7 file for the site, and a comprofiler 1.9 for the admin! I deleted both and also the three cb modules. After that I re-installed cb 1.9 (component and all three modules). After that the update-behaviour was normal, i.e. there was no new update-message for cb!

So now all is well again.

Best regards,
Paul
