Login of users is not recognized by Joomla 1.7

although user IS logged in,

- in Backend>User Manager> "Last visit" is still "never" without date
- in Backend>User Manager> "Logged in" is not checked with green tick
(same in user manager of CB)
- when access level for menue item is set to registered : item is not beein displayed to this user

I tried login via Joomla Modul, CB Modul, Menue-Link to login form - nothing changed.

Edit: When user access level is set to "Super Administrator" everything is working fine.
When access level is less than this - problems like above.

Where it is checked, the login status?
Anyone have any idea of how to fix this?

I've the same problem:

- Joomla 1.7.2
- Content Builder 1.7 (comprofiler)
- Breezing Forms 1.7.5

When I try to enter in the Frontend with a registered user it doesn't do anything with: Mozilla, Opera, Chrome...

But for some weird reason is going with the Microsoft Internet explorer?!??!?

I've created a demo user that has:

username: demo
password: Demo66

Anyone knows what is happening? Why it works only with IE 9?
