CB 1.7 double path cb_login fails (path not found)

I installed CB 1.7 on Jamp running joomla 1.7. (installed in a subdirectory)

Everything seems to work fine but when I try to login the following error appears

/Joomla 1.6 ENG/Joomla 1.6 ENG/index.php/component/comprofiler/login was not found on this server.

The Problem is this "/Joomla 1.6 ENG/Joomla 1.6 ENG/"
Some part of the path is doubled. Does anyone know what could cause this.
It seems that only the CB_Login module shows this behaviour.

The problem is your SEF.

Turn SEF off and test.

Thanks but I dont think it is a SEF Problem.
With SEF Turned of the Error is as following:

The requested URL /Joomla 1.6 ENG/Joomla 1.6 ENG/index.php was not found on this server

And in the Browser Adressbar there is the following URL:

I cannot replicate this on my CB 1.7/ J 1.7 environment.

Probably its a configuration issue of my AMP Package Jamp then.. (its an alternative to Xampp but easyer)
Tonight I'll try in another envirement.
If I find out what it is i'll let you know
