I had this same problem crop up on me out of nowhere and what I did after searching this forum for half a night and finally seeing the above fix was:

1. Logged into the backend of my joomla site
2. Clicked on Community Builder-COnfiguration
3. Went to the Integration tab
4. Selected 'No' on the option to "Enable anti-spoofing sessions checks"
5. Clicked 'Save'
6. Checked the front end of my site again by trying to log in.
7. The session cookie issue was gone.

Thank so much for the help. I am sorry it took so long to find this solution and then nobody told me where to look but hopefully the next person will not have as much trouble as the rest of us. Blessings to you all.

I think it is a bug of Community Builder, I have change option "Enable anti-spoofing sessions checks" to No, But when register new account i have still get _UE_SESSION_EXPIRED message.
My system:
- Joomla 2.5.4
- Community Builder 1.8
- Template Ja Purity II

Scenario:

- When register new account , we receive message _UE_SESSION_EXPIRED although :( test on IE, FireFox, Chrome)
+ "Enable anti-spoofing sessions checks" to No
+ Change TimeZone of server and client to HoChiMinh(hanoi) City
+ Clear all server cache and web brower cache

- No problem with login function

Debug:
- This scenario run cbRegAntiSpamCheck() function on administrator/component/comprofiler/comprofiler.class.php, and run to "_cbExpiredSessionJSterminate( 200 ); exit();"

I had a module installed for the EU directive that required a yes or no for the cookies from the user. Disabeling this solved the problem.
