CB 2.0 looks great... I think you are on the right way...

And it's time to release it...

So is there a estimated date of release? I am eagerly wanting to see a demo of this. ;) Hope to see this at least by the time Joomla 3.0 comes out. :cheer:

Anyways, great work folks! I'm very pleased to hear this news.

Estimated date of release?

See Joomlapolis-Homepage => presentation "Community Builder beyond social sites" => slide 49 => "To be released this year!" (30.05.2010) ;-)

Thanks for pointing out the obvious - yes our plans changed mainly because of Joomla 2.5 push as we elected to first focus on new Joomla version compatibility instead of CB 2.0 work.

This is exactly the reason I will not provide any more estimated timeframes for releases.

It will be ready when its ready and we will be posting progress reports when progress is made.

Joomla 2.5 compatibility was definitely a good choice. I pretty much only use J 2.5 at this point of my web development.
