BTW, what happens on updating profile fields via AJAX? Does it fire the usual OnAfterProfileUpdate event... I mean, do any other things act normal: like CB AutoActions, ProfileLogger, CB Profile Notifier (3rdParty) etc.

I noticed that the update form opens below other elements.
Not sure where to assign the z-index for that...

1.3.0 released! Confirmed it's working on J1.5 now as well. I've also added more fields that can be AJAXed; they are as follows.

First Name
Middle Name
Last Name
Name
Username
Password
Primary Email Address
Gravatar (requires the incubator project for this new fieldtype)
