Setting field visibility individually user by user

Hi,

I have several users who would like to hide their phone nr, address, family info, etc. from view.
However other users would like to show them.

Is there any way I could offer a checkbox for every field if it is visible publicly on the CB profile?

I have looked into the conditions plugin, but I cannot find any documentation for it, if it can handle visibility as well.

It would be possible to hide the whole profile from the lists with a filter field, but that is not what I want.

Any hacks around? Or shall this be a development request?

One way to do this is to create a special CB plugin that creates a tab and the specific fields you want. The plugin may then have an extra field that each user can set to allow the tab (and its contents) to appear in public, for registered users or for connected users. I am using similar logic to to this in the CB Gallery plugin.

If you have a real budget I am sure you can find a developer to write this for you.
