CB Blog > Joomla Blog was created by Arqitect
So, I seen one person who had a similar issue but Im not sure it applies to my position.

I am under CBProfile + Create Blog. Now with Gantry5 Particle, there is a Joomla Blog addon. Im trying to get the blog from CB to Joomla

Also I can not assign a Category to blog to, even though I have created a Catergory.

Im kind of lost on what to do.

Okay, I have now gotten it to find a category but its not posting anything under it. The only thing appearing is the category.

The categories work by selecting a parent category. So generally you'd have the below structure.

News
Updates
Announcements
Blogs
- Movies
- Games
- Sports

With this Joomla category configuration I would select "Blogs" as the category in CB Blogs > Parameters > Blogs.

As for your article not being visible that will depend a bit on the configuration of your main page. Does it include display of articles from that category? Is it only displaying articles marked "Featured"? Can you click the article in your Blogs or Articles tab and see the article fine? If so that means it's at least accessible and your issue is just likely a menu configuration problem to Joomla's articles component.

Okay so this is what I got. Im wanting to use Blogs as a sort of news update. Its more user friendly and front end accessible.

Again still new to the Blog/Article thing, not sure if they are separate or work together or what.

You can CB Blogs set to Internal mode. This means the blogs are stored internally in its own database. It needs to be set to Joomla mode if you want it to store them as Joomla articles.
